The second of the Jewel table series is a stunning piece inspired by the Caserta Palace. Built to rival with Versailles, it sits in Caserta, near Naples, as the largest palace of Western Europe. Each room is lavishly decorated. This little table is the perfect decor. Meticulously hand gilded, the scrolls create the illusion of opening a painting which is kept open by four gilded paper weights. The dark purple color is blended with dark gray and dark green to create a true custom piece. The legs are marvelously carved and the carvings are brought to life by the light of gold.
